Running low on your medication? Get fast, safe support—no GP appointment needed.
Imaan Healthcare offers an NHS Emergency Supply Service to ensure you can access essential prescription medication quickly, whether you’ve missed a GP appointment, lost your prescription, or are away from home. Our trained pharmacists provide professional guidance both in-pharmacy and online.
Note: Not all medicines are eligible for emergency supply. The pharmacist will assess suitability in accordance with NHS guidelines.
The NHS Emergency Supply Service allows pharmacists to provide a short course of your regular prescription medicine when you cannot get a prescription from your GP in time.
This service is ideal if you:
Imaan Healthcare can supply medication online or in person. You may need to provide proof of your previous prescription (e.g., empty medicine box, repeat slip), and, with your consent, we can check your NHS Summary Care Record to ensure safe supply.
In most cases, antibiotics cannot be purchased over the counter.
Certain NHS services, such as Pharmacy First, allow pharmacists to assess and supply antibiotics for minor infections (e.g., UTIs, sore throats, impetigo) if clinically appropriate.
For most long-term antibiotics, a valid prescription is still required.
Your local Imaan pharmacist can guide you safely through NHS channels for antibiotic access.
