What it is
A blood pressure test measures the force of blood against the walls of your arteries. Results are shown as two numbers:
Readings are measured in mmHg and compared with standard UK guidelines.
A clinician can advise whether follow-up or GP referral is needed.

1–3 readings are taken using an approved blood pressure machine.

Results are explained, including next steps or lifestyle advice if needed.

If readings are outside the normal range, referral to a GP or home monitoring advice is provided.
